Overview
Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime weekend exploring Sri Lanka’s untamed southeast coast. We’ll head off early Saturday from Weligama and make our way across the island to the laid-back surf haven of Arugam Bay. Expect beachside lunches, epic scenery, and vibrant local culture. In the evening, we’ll head to Panama Village, where a guided sunset boat ride awaits, gliding through mangroves and spotting wildlife before sitting down to a traditional village dinner. After a night out or a chill evening in Arugam Bay, Sunday begins with an early start for a hike up Kudumbigala Rock and a visit to the historic Okanda Temple, led by a local guide. We'll refuel with breakfast in Okanda before heading to Elephant Rock or Peanut Farm beach for a relaxed lunch, snacks, and maybe a dip in the sea before returning west. This trip blends adventure, culture, and coast in perfect weekend proportions. 🌴
