Overview
**Minimum 5 people required for this trip** Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave (ATM) . This is one of the most unforgettable and adventurous underground tours you can enjoy in Belize You will be taken into the caves with a tour guide specific to these cave chambers. There is only 25 in the whole of Belize that have the license to do this tour and they are extremely knowledgeable. Please feel free to ask lots of questions! The tour requires climbing and swimming as well as crawling through small spaces. The cave is extensively decorated with cave formations in the upper passages, dry chambers which lead to the cathedral-like main hall, a towering chamber 350 meters in length and 50 meters wide and filled with artefacts and sacrificial remains. Visitors remove shoes and explore the cave in socks only, to protect the artefacts on the cave floor. After this, another climb takes you to the stone sepulchre (after which the cave is named) where you will be met with a secret artefact (We don't want to ruin the surprise!)

Pickup - 6.30am pickup at Umaya Reception
Driving time - 2.5 hours
Time in caves - Approx 3-4 hours
Lunch - Once you come out of the caves, a local cuisine lunch will be served with some rum punch.
Return to Umaya - Approx 5-6pm
