Join us in the wonderful town of Kilifi for an overnight trip on the Msafiri boat with a sunset dhow trip and visit to the floating bar.

*Minimum 8 sign ups required* Join us for a captivating weekend getaway in Kilifi, where you'll stay aboard the charming Msafir, a beautifully docked giant dhow that feels like your very own pirate ship! The Msafir offers a cozy, authentic Swahili experience. Highlights include: 🌊 Swimming & Snorkeling: Enjoy refreshing dips and nearby exploration. 🍽️ Swahili Dining: Delight in onboard Swahili-style meals and stops at the best local food joints. For a Sunday adventure, we’ll also take a fun-filled sailing dhow trip with snacks, music, and a visit to a floating bar for sunset!

DAY 1
Day 1 - Saturday 21st
Leaving from Ocean Zuri @ 10am:
Approx 1 hour journey to Kilifi.
Quick stop at Mnarani ruins ancient mosques for approx 1 hour. The Mnarani Ruins offer a glimpse into the region's rich history. These ancient ruins, dating back to the 14th century, are remnants of a Swahili settlement and include a mosque and tombs
We wll then head to SALTY'S a stunning kitesurfing spot with great food and cool spots to relax on the beach.
Arrival at the boat - approx 4pm
The boat is equipped with 15 mats and small pillows and blankets for guests to crash on, however this is very RUSTIC. It is an amazing experience sleeping under the stars together, however if you like sleeping and real beds – this is where you jump in right now and book your private banda in Distant Relatives.

Dinner:
An incredible hand-made SWAHILI DINNER will be served at around 7:30pm by Fatima.

DAY 2
Day 2 - Sunday 22nd
Once you’ve woken up to the sunrise in the middle of the creek, Fatima cooks a delicious breakfast on the boat.
Option - You can either relax on the boat until leaving for lunch at ____ at the Twisted Fig or you can go on a side quest with Bonny to ______
At 4.30pm we will set sail on our sunset dhow experience where we end up at Salty's on the creek, a floating bar with amazing sunset views.
