JOIN WAITLISTOverview
We will be heading at 4 PM to one of Guatemala´s most beautiful destinations, Lake Atitlán! A body of water in a massive volcanic crater in Guatemala’s southwestern highlands! We will be staying in a town called Panajachel, located right next to the lake. Panajachel, known as Pana, is home to several restaurants featuring local and international cuisine, coffee shops, and street food vendors but most importantly where you will find lots of Guatemalan textiles and artisanal pieces handmade by indigenous people from around the lake. On this weekend trip, we will visit four of the most popular villages in Lake Atitlan: Panajachel, Tzununa, Jaibalito, and San Marcos La Laguna. We will transport from village to village in lanchas (speedboats), the most popular way to travel on the lake as they offer a unique experience where you will be surrounded by everything that the crater has to offer: volcanoes, the sound of birds, and a fun water adventure while traveling.
