Overview

Here in Kenya, we take it very seriously, and with Noma you will only be rolling with the best. The best wildlife reserve in Africa. The most expert guide and tracker that we have ever experienced The most authentic camp in the Mara which allows for interactions with the Maasai community, locally sourced and homestyle cooking, and true economic benefits for the Maasai community. After three weeks of soaking in the sun and waters of the Kenyan coastal paradise, you’ll take a hop-skip-and-a-jump flight to Nairobi where you’ll rest overnight in preparation for your adventures. Before dawn, Paul, our dear friend and senior tracker will pick you up and drive you to the Maasai Mara Camp. You will be warmly received at our favourite safari camp, Oseki Maasai Camp. Not only is the camp a cosy and down-home gaming experience but we love that all of the proceeds to the camp stay within the Maasai community and fund schools, healthcare and training programs. Discover an extraordinary off-the beaten track and community based safari experience that will leave you inspired and allows you to engage with the local Maasai community. Be guided by a local - immerse yourself in the beauty of nature & culture alike

Highlights

Safari

Safari

The Mara is home to countless lodging possibilities that can run you upwards of $2,000 a night. For years we have been huge fans and supporters of the Oseki camp, as it is cozy, rustic, and the only option in the Mara that is actually owned and directed by the Maasai community. The Oseki lodge is Mara homestyle-glamping. Read: big fluffy beds inside tastefully decorated safari tents, equipped with their own bathrooms built of exposed stone, and lovely porches to sit and gaze across the rolling hills and tree-dotted savannah. Are we there yet? Please take note that to make sure we can all be at the same site, we will be sharing glamping-tents, like the family that we are. :)
