Puerto Escondido is a great location for surfing with incredible surf breaks and beautiful beaches. La Punta and Playa Carizalillo are great spots to watch the pros ride the waves or, if you’re a beginner, take up lessons.

Overflowing with delicious local flavor, prepare to fall in love as you explore the markets. Mercado Benito Juarez, is a great breakfast spot at their various comedores and Mercado Zicatela has delicious fresh produce and beautiful panoramic ocean views.
